Windows Media Player

Im not sure i understand the question. This sounds like a problem that is related to Windows Media Player or Windows. Your question may be beyond the scope of this forum.

Perhaps give us some more info on whats happening and we can see if we can help.

Check your Start menu and make sure you don't have a link to Windows Media Player in the Start Up sub-menu. Any programs in there will run automatically at boot up. Point to Start, Programs, then Start Up. It's a problem I've never heard of before, but I daresay something may have done this automatically for you if you didn't set it.

Thanks for the replies but not found a cure. I think I can get my problem sorted locally. If not I will be back . Thanks again. lancs-lad.
