Stream keeps disconecting

Starting last night and still happening today, my stream keeps dropping and reconnecting every few minutes. I'm using windows 11, and I am using Winamp 5.8 latest official version, and I am using shout cast dsp 1.9.0 Very old, but usually worked better for me in the past.
I use the dsp stacker 1.6 so I can run sound solution 1.31 for audio processing.
Does anyone have a better idea on what I should be using? It wasn't a problem until last night. I don't think the problem is on your end, I really dont.

I noticed that you mention Windows 11. Have you just recently upgraded to this new OS version? It's possible that there may be some compatibility issues when using older software versions on Windows 11.
 
Its a new pre build. It has windows 11 pre installed. Should I use the new shout cast dsp? I don't know what else I could do, but that will be fine if it works. What do most of other stations use?
 
Will check out the settings and make sure the pc is set up to run as fast as it can. I will look for some tutorials and have mystery radio back on air as soon as I can. This next time will be the pro launch, I want all the bugs removed, and a god solid techno playlist. I have all the goods, I just may have to run it another way.
 
I know that a new version of Winamp is currently being developed https://www.winamp.com/ so this will likely have better Windows 11 compatibility. The last Shoutcast DSP build was released a good few years ago now, so maybe a new version of this will be made available in the new version of Winamp?

In the meantime, if you plan on only running automated playlists then you could make use of the Centovacast AutoDJ feature. https://www.internet-radio.com/comm...dj-and-file-manager-in-centova-cast-v3.15032/
 
Thank you. I think I have solved the problem for now, but definitely can't wait to see new freeware streaming development. Alot of settings have been changed on the pc,plus debloated the operating system. Its streaming nice and good now.
