We are currently experiencing issues with the shoutcast.internet-radio.org.uk server. The control panels and radio servers on this machine are currently offline. We apologies for the issue and hope to have this back online asap. We will update this thread with any developments as they occur so keep posted for status updates.

A live external update status for shoutcast.internet-radio.org.uk can be viewed here : http://www.pingdom.com/reports/ixnbwj4likpo/

We are still working on the issue. If you need a radio server online now we are happy to give you the option of a new account on our cp2.internet-radio.org.uk server. If you would like us to migrate your bandwidth across and setup the new account then email your username / password to contact@internet-radio.org.uk and we will get one of our support team to organise this immediately. You can have your new account and be back online very quickly this way. You will have a different server (cp2.internet-radio.org.uk) / ip assigned. We will of course close down your old shoutcast.internet-radio.org.uk account once the the new one is setup.

We have the server booted into rescue mode and there appears to be some sort of issue with the hard drive. Possibly a hard drive hardware fault. We have requested further assistance from the data centre to confirm this. It has been escalated and we are waiting on their reply. They are usually very quick at responding so shouldn't take too long for the next update.

In the meantime we have been checking our backups and have a very recent backup available (less than 15 hours old). We backup everything twice every day. Depending on the response from the data centre we may need to restore which should take no longer than a couple of hours.

If it is the case we need to restore we may as well upgrade the machine to a new faster one which will give improvements to speed / reliability. Upgrading wont add any extra recovery time to this problem and gives this unexpected problem a positive.

Once again please accept our apologies and bear with us. We will keep you updated. The offer still stands for anyone who needs a new server right away; we can create that for you no problem (see above post).

We have had confirmation that the hard drive is indeed broken and needs replacing. :( Unfortunately these things happen from time to time and we apologies again for the issue.

We have organised a replacement machine to be setup and will begin restoring from backups as soon as we receive the details. The new server will have a different IP but the hostname (shoutcast.internet-radio.org.uk) and your port will remain the same.

We will keep you posted on any updates as usual below.

We have received the new server details and are in the process of restoring from backups. The new server is quite tasty. Here are the specs for the techies and those interested :

Intel Xeon (Quad Core) X3210, 2GB RAM, 2x 250 GB HD's, 100 Mbit port.

We are moving the data from one of our backup servers to this new server and hope to have things moving very soon. As always we appreciate you bearing with us and will keep you posted in this thread.

Back Online!

We still have a few issues to iron out.

We are bringing your control panel and radio server online right now.

We will keep you posted on further developments. Please point out any issues if you notice them.

All radio servers are coming back online as we speak. Should be finished in 5 minutes. The control panel is online too although we are still fixing the internal payment processing so expect the spewing of random code on the overview page. The rest of the control panel / radio server function fine.

Update Completed:

Auto DJ system fully functional and tested.
Date + Time synced and automated.
Payment systems back online with automated credit.

Still To Do:
Free Credit for affected users.
Reintegrate stations into directory.

We have completed the reintegration of the shoutcast.internet-radio.org.uk servers into the directory. Free credit for affected users to follow.

We have fixed an issue with control panel generated tune in links.
We have credited all affected accounts with some free credits for the problem. We have a good impression that everything appears to be in order now. Please let us know if you notice anything out of place.

shoutcast.internet-radio.org.uk server feels very fast having a quad core CPU. It also appears to have a response time half of the previous server. Very impressed with its performance so far :)
