PVR, the new station starting this Spring, is currently looking for anyone globally who can spare us 10 or 15 minutes a few times a week to help with our in-house news bulletins. All you will need is a computer with a reasonably decent microphone, audio editing software (we recommend Audacity which is free) and a file transfer program (we recommend Filezilla which is free) and of course a connection to the internet of some kind.
We would be asking you to record a 2-3 minute news bulletin and upload it to our server. Ideally we need a brand new bulletin every hour, but even if you can only produce one at a given time each week this would be a massive help to our new community based service. The more people who join in, the better our news service will become. Bulletins will also be offered to other stations.
