Relay from Windows Media Server

Hi Guys,

I have an iPhone app that I have written which streams from a Shoutcast/Icecast server with no problems.

Unfortunately, to make an iPhone app stream from a MMS:// server is alot harder so, I was hoping I would be able to relay the MMS server through a Shoutcast server.

Problem is that when I try and enter the details in the relay section it wont connect. I am guessing I can only relay shoutcast/icecast servers.

Can anyone help?

We are not sure this is possible. From reading a few threads in other forums it seems most people relay by tuning into their stream with wimamp and then re-broadcasting to the MMS server : http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?t=260031#2

Not the best method but it seems this is the only way to do it.
