Okay to embed radio streams on my website?

I have a personal web site that I wish to have background music on, and have found that embedding streams from here is a very simple yet elegant way to do it.

Is this encouraged? I guess it's up to each individual broadcaster, but are broadcasters here generally cool with this?

You should contact the stations first to get permission before embedding their station into your own website. Their website url can usually be found under their stream info or you can leave a comment on their page using the Facebook comment plugin.
