Online radio station Hit1FM are looking for new talent to fill up the schedule.
We are currently broadcasting around the world via the internet and our mobile app - available for iOS & Android devices.
We're looking for unique and talented individuals, preferably with an interest in media & production. This is a fantastic opportunity for any student studying media in A-Level or higher.
However, this opportunity is not for students only, anybody is welcome to apply. Ages 16+.
Our playlist consists of mostly Top40 tracks, and music from the past 5-6 years. However we also play a few 80's and 90's tracks - even a few club tracks for the weekend.
Radio is about sharing your taste of music with everybody else, chances are, they'll enjoy it. That's what we want YOU to do. Tell the listener what music you like and why. Not only would it look great on your CV, it can also improve confidence and is also something to do.
We do required at least 1 weekly slot, which you should stick to - however this can be changed at a later date to suit you.
All successful candidates can broadcast from the comfort of their own homes, providing they have a computer, headphones and microphone. Also, they must have a music library, of course.
Shows should be a minimum of 1 hour and can go up to 3-4 hours. However it is completely up to you how much time you are willing to put in.
The position is not paid, however is on a commission basis. You will get a set percentage of however much the radio station earns via adverts. This is set to increase over the coming months.
This could lead to much bigger radio opportunities - all applicants are required to send us an MP3 demo, a bit about themselves and an idea for their show. Do this via a comment below.
