Noticed I didn't ask for a DJ. We are a 24 hour blues station playing everything from Chicago, Delta, Piedmont, Texas, West Coast and independent artists and labels. Bringing you the Best Blues on the Planet with a mix of live broadcasts and nationally and internationally syndicated Blues Shows.
We are looking for volunteer entertainers that specialize in the Blues genre. Can you create compelling and interesting content within your shows? Are you pro-active with respect to reaching out to labels, artists and promotional managers to secure new music, as well as setting up artist interviews and building a theme around each show you produce?
WHIP Blues is part of an ever-growing Radio Network called The Wordwide WHIP Radio Network with our first station; WHIP Radio having been on the air consistently for 7 years now.
Looking for on air talent that has at least 5 years of experience, a plethora of knowledge around and about the blues, a large blues library, and oh, did I mention???? A personality....
