Live Broadcasts by DJs

We are interested in providing multiple DJ's to do their own live broadcasts with time/day restrictions.

Each DJ's username and password configured will also serve as their login details for live source connections.

This is possible as per the centova info found in : http://www.centova.com/doc/cast/use.../02_advanced_usage/03_Providing_Access_to_DJs

Would like to know if SHOUTcast v2 and sc_trans v2 is configured on our server for us to do this.

Hi John,

All of our Shoutcast v2 servers run "liquidsoap". It is only our Shoutcast v1 servers that are running the old "sc_trans v2". Liquid soap is miles better.

The 'DJ Accounts' feature is available with the Centovacast v3 control panel software regardless of this anyway. http://www.internet-radio.com/commu...ystem-in-centova-cast-v3-control-panel.15034/
