Icecast web admin interface

Can anyone tell me how to use the Icecast web admin interface. I am following the docs at icecast.org but when I try to open http://server:ip/admin/stats.xsl, I don't get an active page, but a code listing opens in my browser window, and at the top of the window this message is displayed:
"This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." I've been knocking myself out trying to figure this out. Any insights would be appreciated.

The stats.xsl file is an xml file which displays stream information. Its mostly used as a sort of API to access Icecast data in an xml file. Essentially its not supposed to be displayed in a browser.

If you reference : http://theserver:theport/admin/ (without the stats.xsl) you should see the web interface that allows you to List Clients / Move MountPoints / Update Metadata / Kill Source for each mounpoint along with extra stats.

What are you trying to achieve ?

Well, I have to take that back. I noticed you had followed the URL with a closing "/", so I added that and it works! Thanks for the help. The Icecast docs specifically say to add stats.xsl and it was really confusing.

Thanks again.

Tried ICE CAST

Hi there, :)

I tell you from experience I have tried ICE CAST along with a friend,
and to be honest with you, It was a total lump of B.S at the time what my friend and I were trying to do was,
we were trying to get our Radio station working online.

What system are you Running on when you are trying to Run Ice-cast?

If I were you there? I check the settings on your ICEcast Server Just to make 100% sure that is all OK. And #2 Contact Technical support for information.

Try this OK, and hope this will help you.
