I can kick and ban, but it doesn't last

I tried kicking someone and they just reconnected immediately. So then I banned their IP and it just doesn't work. It looks as if your ban system isn't working properly. Please let me know when this has been fixed so I can ban a listener. Thank you!

Hi Vendetta,

Yes kicking an IP only kicks them from the stream, you need to fully ban them in order to prevent them from reconnecting in future.

We can see that you have one IP on your 'Ban List' in the SCv2 admin area. There should be no reason why this is not working for you.
 
Yes, but when I banned him, he kept popping back up in the listeners list. Not sure why that was happening. If I see the IP again, I'll let you know.
 
Ok let us know. But that should not happen and it's not something we have known to happen before. Maybe just restart your server!
 
Yes we can see what you mean. We have tried adding that German IP again to the ban list (88.99.58.156) and also restarting the server and that still did not work? Very odd as it's never been a problem before?

Leave this with us and we shall investigate this some more and see what is going on.
 
Ok for some reason now it seems to be working all of a sudden? Please keep an eye out for that IP and let us know should it return, cheers.
 
I have got a lot of problems with German listeners, 3 IP is banned,but I still launch some German,who listening 12 hour and more sometimes...i will be banned them again:mad:

We can always just fully block Germany on your account for you if you like?
