It's no secret that starting tomorrow we will all be paying almost double if not more what we are currently paying in licensing fees. I was wondering how everyone is coping with it. I already see a couple dozen small internet radio stations shutting down today, and I assume many more within the month of January.
It's a shame as this will be a domino effect. As people cancel their license agreement & close their station, they will also be closing their streaming account/ hosting providers I'm sure with it.
For me personally, it sucks as I've grown my radio station so much over the last year and a half. Although I will be keeping my main one open (i99Radio.com) I'll be shutting down 3 others that I run that isn't nearly as popular/ big as this one.
