Help! I'm smart but I need some help

Hello
I am interested in starting my own internet radio station. I'm completely confused how to get things set up and configured. Would someone here be so kind as to help me get things started? I want to do some broadcasts from my daughters horse races where I announce, and then play some music the rest of the time.
