Essential maintenance is being carried out by our data centre providers and is required on most of our server infrastructure. This maintenance is necessary to patch the MDS (ZombieLoad) CPU vulnerability and will incur some small amount of downtime for our radio servers, control panel and directory website.

Please take note when your server will be updated. Whilst the control panel (control.internet-radio.com:2199) and website (www.internet-radio.com) are being updated your radio servers will still function but you won't be able to access the control panel or your start pages in our directory.

Maintenance Schedule in UTC:
  • 2019-06-28 2:00:00 AM UTC - www.internet-radio.com (Directory Website)
  • 2019-07-02 1:00:00 AM UTC - control.internet-radio.com:2199 (Control Panel)
  • 2019-06-28 12:00:00 AM UTC - uk2.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-06-28 2:00:00 AM UTC - uk3.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-07-02 1:00:00 AM UTC - uk4.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-07-02 1:00:00 AM UTC - uk5.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-06-28 2:00:00 AM UTC - uk6.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-07-02 1:00:00 AM UTC - uk7.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-06-28 12:00:00 AM UTC - de1.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-06-26 9:00:00 AM UTC - us1.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-06-27 2:00:00 AM UTC - us2.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-06-25 5:00:00 AM UTC - us3.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-07-01 9:00:00 AM UTC - us4.internet-radio.com
  • 2019-06-26 1:00:00 AM UTC - us5.internet-radio.com
Unfortunately the maintenance schedule cannot be altered, postponed, or rescheduled. A two-hour window is allocated, however, the actual downtime should be much less. Probably 10-20 minutes. The servers will be cleanly shutdown and will remain inaccessible during the maintenance window. After the maintenance has concluded, each server will be returned to its last state and there should be no action required on your part although we recommend you login to check anyway.

Thanks for your understanding. If you have any questions you can email us mdspatch@internet-radio.com.

We're just finalising the last update on this which is the control panel. It's taking slightly longer than expected to restore the database as we decided to upgrade the server at the same time. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Most servers only took 10 minutes to update except uk7 which had host failure but the drives were transported to new hardware and it's just been brought back online.

The control panel is now back online and accessible. We're still running some tests but everything seems in order so far.

We've had to restart all the icecast2 servers as the control panel upgrade spawned multiple instances causing high CPU load. We also rebooted uk2 and uk5. Apologies for the inconvenience while we ensure everything is running smoothly after the control panel upgrade.

It seems I'm going to have to reboot all the servers as Centova hasn't properly connected back to all radio servers and they appear offline even though they're technically online. Apologies for this. Fortunately it's still the early hours and there's not much usage this time of the day.
