Hello

I've done everything you've said but I still can't connect.

I've put in the serve IP on it's own and with http:// in front of it and it still doesn't want to connect.

Just checking the source password is the one I got sent through on email that I used to set up my server?

Many thanks
David

Hi Storm, I think the issue is related to you having an icecast server. This encoder only works with shoutcast servers. (see the other forum post here)

ip not working

i have done everything you asked put in what you asked we are using shoutcast and its still not working getting really frustrated as our radio is not on air whilst whilst we talk

Hi Phoenix,

We can assure you 100% that you do not need to use the IP address like as you stated in your email to us. We and also many of our clients use just the hostname (for example uk2.internet-radio.com/) for this all the time. We always recommend using the hostname just in case for some reason your servers IP address was to ever change

Any chance you can email us a screenshot of your settings at all please.

Also, make sure you leave the "User ID" section blank, you do not need to enter anything there.
