Complete Internet Broadcast Beginner

I want to broadcast my own programs live via the internet on a regular weekly schedule

I'll use PC DJ software into a mixer with microphone mixed in and then perhaps feed the mixer output back into another PC...but I'm only guessing

Is there a simple step by step guide that will get me started?

You've got the gist of it To be more specific would depend on wether you intend on broadcasting your music from decks or from a pc in mp3 format. The latter wouldnt require 2 PC's as this could be done with software. Broadcasting from decks would require you plug the mixer into the line-in port of the PC and use an encoder to send that to the server.
