Hi, sorry if this has been posted in the wrong section.
I am interested, and have been for a long while, in starting my own Internet Radio Station, with a small company in my area (it's a youth theatre) The station would probably be beginning with broadcasts to, i would imagine no more than 100 listeners on a 2 to 3 nights per week (3/4 hours per on-air night). The youth theatre already has a PRS License for playing music on the premises, but i'm not sure this is relevant.
I have searched and searched the interwebs, and in my angst have decided to ask a direct question to someone who can hopefully help.
CAN SOMEONE TALK ME THROUGH THE LICENSING PROCESS???
I am aware of the LOML (LOEL used to be) from PRS and the small webcaster license from PPL. i can't get my head round this, do i need both, or neither, or one or the other..
I would also appreciate any help regarding Streaming providers etc...
Equipment isn't really a problem, i have mixer/P.O. software/interned connection etc...
Thanks in advance for all your help folks,
Chris
