Broadcasting and playing off the same computer

Hi there,i'm not sure if this is possible but someone here might know.

What i'm trying to do is broadcast using LiveStream or one of those online braodcast stations and play my music from Ableton at the same time.

I'm able to braodcast sound coming into the soundcard but not from within the laptop.

Any ideas would be greatfully received

You need to fiddle with your sound card settings. Specifically the recording options. This will allow you to set the recording to be whats played on the sound card.

Try Soundflower if you are using Mac or try VAC if you are using a PC.

Both allow you to route audio sources and destinations within your computer including application to application.
